MEET JANIS and DAN
Janis Leafgren and Dan O’Neill are the co-owners of Laundry Dr. Lockers.
Throughout her 40-year career, Janis’ track record of providing impeccable client care is legendary. For the past 22 years she has worked as Senior Executive Assistant for the former CEO of a Fortune 500 Company in Minnesota. Additionally, her role supporting the Board of Directors provides her opportunities daily to offer the highest level of white-glove support to C-suite executives across many businesses and industries. Currently, she also serves as the Office Director for a boutique private equity firm located in downtown Minneapolis. Her work ethic and her passion for treating everyone in the organization with the utmost care and respect has earned her countless raving fans and admirers. Janis has always loved a neat and orderly approach to life and brings that style and image to the business every day.
Dan brings nearly 35 years of operations experience to the team at LDL. After a five-year tour in the Army, Dan, a West Point graduate, held numerous executive roles with several commercial real estate firms leading teams in startups, turnarounds and early-stage growth businesses. Dan’s experience as an entrepreneur began in the late 90’s when he led a start-up land development business from scratch growing it to a $20M business.
He also helped expand an early-stage retail music business into 25 states and Canada and has consulted for numerous other small businesses including serving as a director at a privately held community bank. His corporate and commercial real estate experiences and his hands-on approach to executing and delivering on customer promises compliment the expertise and passion Janis brings to the business.
Dan and Janis are Dad and Step-Mom to 4 children who range in ages from 29 to 23. They also have two beautiful grandchildren with another two on the way. They moved to downtown Minneapolis after spending most of their lives living in the suburbs enjoying another of their passions – gardening! With limited gardening opportunities downtown – they’ve taken up Tandem Bicycling now enjoying the many miles of trails and scenic pathways in and around the city.
